Catchy Quote: "A Clockwork Orange"

http://www.lacrosselibrary.org/information/books_lit.asp
"Then I looked at its top sheet, and there was the name- A CLOCKWORK ORANGE- and I said: 'That's a fair gloopy title. Who ever heard of a clockwork orange?' Then I read the malenky a bit out loud in a sort of very high type preaching goloss:'- The attempt to impose upon man, a creature of growth and capable of sweetness, to ooze juicily at the last round the bearded lips of God, to attempt to impose, I say, laws and conditions appropriate to a mechanical creation, against this I raise my sword-pen-' Dim made the old lip-music at that and I had to smeck myself."

I picked these few sentences for my favorite quote. I picked it because it has the title of the book into the book itself. It kind of explains what is in the book this man is writing and what it's about. A lot of people like to write books in their free time. If you want to write a fiction book there are some rules you can follow to make it interesting. Here are top ten rules when writing fiction. So if you're interested in writing fiction take a look at these rules.

Independent Reading

http://www.blincos.com/BSRB_PhotoGalleries/BSRB_StanleyCup/BSRB_Tour/bsrb_tour.html
This chapter takes place in a bar where Alex and his gang are watching a bunch of people. After they leave Alex passes a place where he see's two girls lying on the ground. It was obvious to him that they have been assulted and even possibly raped. He passes them without even thinking twice about it. He goes home and eats dinner his mother made with no consious about what he did. What he should've done is called for help. If you have ever found someone who has been raped or you have yourself, call for help. He's a hotline to call if this ever happens. It gives you information about it and numbers if help is needed.

A Clockwork Orange Continued..

http://dailybrainteaser.blogspot.com/2012/04/murder-mystery-puzzle.html
I have made it a little father on "A Clockworth Orange". It's still very confusing, but I know for the most part what's going on. Alex's gang goes around and starts murdering a number of people for no reason. Some police come up to them and ask them if they knew about anything going on with all the murders and they said no. After the police leave they kill another women. They are truly serial killers that are killing people for no reason. I found a website that tells about the top 10 serial killers. It's sad to think that there is even a list of top 10 serial killers. I can't tell if I like this book or not. It's too soon to tell yet. Hopefully as I read more into it I will like it.

A Hero

A hero can be defined as many different things depending on the person. When most people think of heroes they think of a man in tights that can flay and saves the world from evil. Is that a true hero? A hero, to me, is someone that is willing to sacrifice anything to make others happy. Someone who would rather see themselves sad than others. When thinking of a hero in my life describing that definition it's my mom. She's my hero. She always puts everyone else first and thinks of herself last. In a way, she sounds a little like a hero you'd read about it in a book, but she's even more of a hero than that. She's a TRUE  hero that I look up to. She inspires me to want to be that way someday.
